![]() ![]() You also cannot record/add new automation to the existing automation. switch to volume automation away from the Omni automation) it disappears into the void and you cannot toggle back to the Omni automation. Per the most recent posts on the other forum, it seems that if you open a project with existing automation that you created/saved prior to Logic Pro 10.7.3, and if you happened to save the project with the automation showing, it displays as (I assume) generic automation information and existing automation seems to work, but if you click away from the automation (i.e. The "just numbers" part in your second pic is actually expected behavior, since you first have to right-click > Enable Host Automation in Omni, then the assigned parameter displays the name of the parameter instead of a number. Trying to record in automation does nothing, as if you're not turning a knob/fader in Omni (The idea being you're not first selecting it, but it gets 'selected' when printing during recording). In Logic Pro 10.7.3 Omnisphere does not show as an option in the Automation Parameter drop down at all (your first pic), which means you cannot add/edit/use host automation. 2nd pic you see just Numbers for the Parameters !!ĮDIT#2: and for you Pro Tools users // just Numbers in the Auto Menu !!!Sadly, that's it. I tried a few things like recording in Automation with Omnisphere and Pigments 3, but nada.ĮDIT: under Native. I've gone back to 10.7.2 for the time being as a handful of my plugins are unable to use automation on Logic Pro 10.7.3 with my Intel-based Mac. I’d be interested to know if anyone here can reproduce the issue. Here’s the thread where most the conversation is happening: Users running on Apple Silicon and running everything natively with Logic Pro 10.7.3 have confirmed everything is working as expected. Users on Big Sur and Monterey have said they can reproduce the issue, and there’s a running list of plugins/manufacturers that are affected. It seems to only affect intel-based systems and Apple Silicon systems running Rosetta (I guess this points to the Intel code?). Showing Automation and clicking the Automation Parameter Track Header drop down, affected plugins don’t display as an option to select and thus you cannot automate them. Various 3rd party plugins are completely missing the option to use Host Automation. ![]() Hasn’t been “officially” confirmed by Apple or any other 3rd party developers but there’s a lot of users confirming it and Arturia has added it to their list of current investigations per one comment. There’s a pretty crippling bug that’s getting talked about over at the Logic Pro Help forums. ![]()
